Our Approach

About Ryan

Ryan is a Ph.D student at the City University of New York Graduate Center and a Medical Ethics Fellow at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. Throughout his academic career, he has published several articles in professionals journals and presented at multiple academic conferences around the globe.

He has several years of experience teaching first-year students at Binghamton University, where he saw firsthand the challenges that many students unknowingly face, particularly in writing, after transitioning from high school to college. This experience provides Ryan unique insight into how writing, reading comprehension and other social science play an integral part in a student's development in high school and beyond.

Ryan received his BA with highest honors from Rutgers University, where he double-majored in philosophy and psychology and minored in religion. He obtained his MA in philosophy from Binghamton University.

In his spare time, Ryan enjoys reading, playing guitar and cooking.
